Role Overview
As the Carpentry Team Leader, you will bridge the gap between design and reality. You will be responsible for overseeing our skilled carpentry teams, ensuring that every joint, fitting, and finish meets our premium standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a blend of site supervision, technical expertise, and project coordination.
Core Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Site Supervision
- Mentorship: Supervise and manage carpentry teams, providing guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Scheduling: Manage daily work schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and project momentum.
- Safety: Strictly enforce on-site safety standards to maintain a secure working environment.
- Site Management: Monitor construction sites, manage material usage, and oversee the assembly and repair of custom woodwork, doors, and cabinetry.
2. Project Management & Quality Control
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the point of contact between project managers, designers, and clients to ensure seamless installations.
- Premium Quality: Maintain rigorous structural and aesthetic standards, specifically for high-end carpentry and joinery projects.
- Inventory & Reporting: Manage inventory levels, oversee material ordering, and provide regular progress reports to management.
3. Technical Specialisations
- Advanced Hardware: Expert installation and connection of high-spec Blum and Grass fittings.
- Integrated Lighting: Handle the installation and connection of cabinetry lighting systems.
