Quality Assurance
& Returns Policy

At Ezomdabu Concepts, we pride ourselves on delivering high-end, bespoke craftsmanship. Because our products are custom-designed and manufactured specifically for your space, we do not offer "change of mind" returns. Instead, we provide a comprehensive Quality Guarantee to ensure your complete satisfaction.

1. Pre-Installation & Delivery Inspection

We maintain strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Upon delivery of furniture or completion of a kitchen installation:

  • Final Inspection: The client (or a designated representative) is required to inspect the goods or installation with our team.

  • Service Completion Sign-off: Once you are satisfied that the products meet the agreed specifications and quality standards, a Delivery & Service Completion Note must be signed. This signature serves as your formal approval of the quality, finish, and condition of the goods.

2. Defective or Damaged Goods (Our Responsibility)

If, during the final inspection, a defect, snag, or manufacturing error is identified that has originated from our side:

  • Rectification: We are committed to correcting the issue promptly. We will repair or replace the affected component at no additional cost to you.

  • Goal: Our mission is to ensure that the final product is 100% perfect and aligns with the professional standards of Ezomdabu Concepts.

3. Post-Sign-off & Client Responsibility

Once the Service Completion Note is signed, the risk and responsibility for the goods pass to the client.

  • Post-Delivery Damage: Any defects, scratches, or damages that arise after the sign-off — including those caused by misuse, accidental damage, environmental factors (e.g., water leaks not related to our plumbing, humidity), or normal wear and tear — are the responsibility of the client.

  • Assessment & Repairs: Should you require repairs for damage occurring after sign-off, we are happy to assist. However, these services will be assessed and charged according to our standard labor and material rates.

4. Custom & Bespoke Nature

Please note that because our products are custom-made to your specific dimensions and aesthetic choices:

  • We cannot accept returns or cancellations once production has commenced.

  • Minor natural variations in wood grain, stone patterns, or color shades are inherent to high-quality materials and are not considered defects.

5. How to Report a Snag

If you notice a manufacturing defect that was missed during the initial sign-off, please contact us within 7 days of installation at info@ezomdabuprojects.co.za. Please include:

  1. Your Invoice/Order Number.

  2. Clear photographs of the defect.

  3. A brief description of the issue.
